Accommodation: As we only have four bedrooms we have worked hard to make each room individual in style. In fact many of our repeat guests will ask for their rooms by colour, instead of the number. All the bedrooms are en-suite and offer the usual comforts you would expect to find in a high quality hotel.

As we have the Dalbeattie section of the 7Stanes biking trial almost on our doorstep we appreciate that many of our guests will be here to use the trial. Therefore we offer a secure lock-up garage for your bikes and drying facilities for the odd days it rains in Scotland !

Wining and Dining: Whether you're here for a short break or on business you are always assured of a warm welcome.

At The Kings Arms Hotel we hope to offer good value, well cooked food served in beautiful surroundings. Our char-grilled steaks using locally produced meats are a speciality. Most of our meals are now served in our newly lounge which can cater for up to 80 people comfortably. The lounge has proved incredibly popular since its extension. As welcoming a place for morning coffee as it is for lunch or dinner. We can also cater for smaller parties in our more intimate upstairs dining room or cosy snug. Should the sun shine we also have a very popular Beer Garden .

To compliment our menus we offer small but varied wine menu and our bar also stocks a good range of malts. We also offer an interesting range of spirits and beers with the emphasis being on quality of both the product and our service. At The Kings Arms Hotel we believe in excellence of service and warmth of welcome.

Arrivals and Departure: We will always try to accommodate guests who arrive early, but we are unable to guarantee access to your room before 12 noon on the day of your arrival. Departure time is 10:00am.

Tariff: Room rates are in pounds sterling and include a full Scottish Breakfast. All prices are per person, per night and include Value Added Tax (V.A.T.) at the prevailing rate:

Payment: Settlement of your ill must be made prior to departure from the hotel. Cheques should be supported by, and within the limits, a current bankers card issued by any major UK Bank. All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted with the exception of American Express.

Children: Children under the age of 5 years will be accommodated free. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 and sharing a room with their parents will be charged £10.00 for bed and breakfast.

Dietary Requirements: Please notify us prior to your visit if you have any special dietary requirements and it will be our pleasure to cater for you.

Dogs: Sorry, but we do not allow dogs in the bedrooms.

No Smoking Policy: For the comfort and enjoyment of our residents, we have a strict “no smoking” policy for our bedrooms.

Car Parking: The hotel car park is at the rear of the building and is complimentary. We do not accept responsibility for damage to, or theft from, vehicles parked on the hotel site. This also applies to the lock-up garage.
